Ok let me tell you something.. Sometimes, when you are want to request for stuffs.. Be prepared to give or do somethings to earn it.. Please take note, the word is REQUEST and not FAVOUR...

So here's my story..

One day, while I was accompanying my sister to this place, a representative from this tuition agency which I've registered with, called and told me that there's an assignment at Tampines.. I'll have to teach this Primary 6 boy, Maths only, twice per week, 1.5 hours each.. So I agreed to it..

Then two days later, this boy's mum message me and wants to meet me before I started teaching her son. She said she wants to brief me more about her son..
So I've met her today.. And she told me about her son who is the "heck care" kind of person and have some attitude problems.. And I was like " Ok.. challenging tasks "..

Then, after a few minutes of talking, THEN COME THE REQUESTING PART! She requests that I teach English and Malay as well... And she added that she would like me to teach 3 times per week during the holidays.. Eventually, I agreed to it..

Then she said that she will leave it up to me to make the extra charges without involving the tuition agent (as they will take 50% commision).. And so I calculated based on $15 per hour which I think the standard tuition rates.. You guys can check out any tuition sites if you want to see the normal rates.. But I've made a silly mistakes in my calculation and I've told her the wrong calculated charges.. And she agreed to it..

Then after I went back home, when I calculated it back, I realise that I've made an error.. I'm actually charging $30 cheaper.. So I've messaged her back and inform about the mistakes as well as the actual total charge..

GUESS WAT?! She replied saying that the charge is too high and she already had made an ENQUIRY (she didn't tell me to who.. But I feel that she must have clarify with the tuition agency itself.. how stupid of her.. because she say " don't tell the agency regarding the additions of subjects and time slot".. but in the end, she's the one who let it out.. STUUUUPIIIID!!!).. Then she added that based on the results of the enquiry that she've made, she told me that the amount that I was charging her was actually equivalent to the charge for an extra subject..

I was like WHAT THE FUCK!!! I mean EH AUNTIE!! Doesn't she realise that she requests for extra 2 subjects which are English and Malay!! Maybe she thought that the English and Malay was part in the initial charge.. But whatever it is, I think the charge is reasonable enough.. I mean you ask me to teach 3 TIMES PER WEEK LEH!! People usually asks TWICE PER WEEK.. and YOU ask for 3 TIMES LEH!!!.. TIME IS PRECIOUS YOU KNOW!!

Then when I explained to her how I calculated the charges, she was like "Why you never told me earlier.. U have change my plan".. I was like HUH?!! "U have change my plan".. So what? Is that a "YES! I WANT YOU TO TEACH MY SON!!" or a "NO! I DON'T WANT YOU TEACH MY SON!!!" or "YES! I WANT YOU TO TEACH MY SON BUT JUST STICK TO THE INITIAL PLAN WHICH IS TWICE PER WEEK!"

So I ask her, "So I guess you're calling the tuition off?".. and until the time I posts this entry, she haven't reply me yet.. I mean COME ON!! DON'T GO AROUND THE BUSH WILL YOU.. JUST STRAIGHT TO THE POINT!!

Haiz.. This people.. They want to request that lah, this lah.. but then NO MONEY TO PAY.. Then you think I what? SOCIAL WELFARE AR? I have a living to take care of leh.. Some more, this AUNTIE.. she HAVE 2 MAIDS YOU KNOW.. One for her and one more for her parents..

I don't mind if you don't have enough money.. We can negotiate the price.. BUT DON'T TRY TO TELL ME THAT I'M CHEATING YOU!!! YOU THINK WHAT?!! I GOT NO OTHER BETTER STUFF TO DO AR!!

Ok lah.. Got to go.. So basically, moral of the story is, CHECK YOUR MONEY BEFORE YOU START TO REQUEST THIS AND THAT.. IF NO MONEY, GO ASK YOUR MAIDS!!!
